an off-grid power system. An off-grid system is more involved
to design than a grid-connected system.
When
designing an independant power system, the amount of energy required
defines
the the size of the system needed. This means that the majority of
systems are designed around the mid-winter energy use, as this normally
tends to be the peak energy period.
