Internally, the 12V 230Ah Gen2 uses matched LiFePO₄ prismatic cells in a 4-cell configuration to deliver a nominal 12.8V pack with a deep 2,944Wh energy reserve. LiFePO₄ chemistry provides a flat discharge curve, strong voltage support under load, and high round-trip efficiency—ideal as the backbone of a 12V inverter and solar system. The 300A smart BMS constantly tracks individual cell voltages, pack voltage, current, and multiple temperature points, disconnecting charge or load if limits are exceeded.

Gen2 electronics boost measurement accuracy. The internal shunt feeds precise current data to the BMS for trustworthy state-of-charge (SOC) and energy-throughput figures—better than voltage-only estimates for sizing generators, planning solar, or running heavy appliances. All data streams via Bluetooth to the Fogstar app, showing live voltage, current, SOC, cell balance, temperatures, and alarms without extra shunts or displays.
