Canadian Solar are a vertically integrated manufacturer of ingots, wafers, cells and solar pv modules. This allows complete control over the quality of their modules.

The company was incorporated in Canada in 2001 and in 2006 Canadian Solar was listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

Canadian Solar has now become one of the largest solar companies in the world. With a combined manufacturing facility of 256,439 sqm, Canadian Solar’s 10000 employees around the world created revenues of $1.3 billion in 2012.

All Canadian Solar modules have been subjected to and passed mechanical load testing according to standards for IEC 61215 and UL1703. They also carry a 25-year warranty on power output, with a 10-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
