The Marlec Rutland 910-4 furling is a quiet and powerful wind generator which produces useful amounts of energy. With many thousands of units sold, the Marlec 910-4 can be seen silently generating power at remote locations all around the world.
The 910-4 incorporates a brushless, low friction flywheel-type alternator, which enables the turbine to keep spinning when the wind drops momentarily. As a result, the generator delivers more power, especially in lower wind speeds.
All of Marlec's turbines are finely balanced in the factory, ensuring smooth, quiet running. The latest model features efficient aerofoil blades which have been tested to withstand extreme wind speeds.
The Marlec Rutland 910-4 is built with durable UV resistant materials, giving years of trouble free service even under the harsh conditions of a marine environment.
Marlec produce charge regulators for use with their wind generators, which prevent the battery from being overcharged. A range of mounting kits are also available.
Suggested charge regulators : Rutland HRSi, Rutland HRDi (with display).
