Fogstar Energy IP65 16.1kWh LiFePO₄ Expansion Module, 51.2V 314Ah

The Fogstar Energy IP65 16.1kWh expansion module adds another 16.1kWh of LiFePO₄ storage to an existing Fogstar modular battery stack, taking it from one module to as many as four (64.4kWh). It is supplied with the cables for your chosen upgrade, so you can add capacity as your demand grows without replacing anything.

16.1kWh expansion battery module: key features

  • 16.1kWh LiFePO₄ module (314Ah at 51.2V nominal, 16S1P)
  • IP65 sealed for indoor or outdoor installation
  • 150A Seplos BMS and 2A JK active balancer
  • Built-in heating and heat-activated fire suppression
  • 8,000 cycles at 91% depth of discharge, backed by a 6-year warranty
  • CAN and RS485 communications through the existing stack control panel

How to expand your Fogstar battery stack

Add one module to move from 16.1kWh to 32.2kWh, from 32.2kWh to 48.3kWh, or from 48.3kWh to 64.4kWh. The module connects to the control panel, LCD touchscreen and 350A breaker already fitted to your stack, so no extra control hardware is needed. Please give your current and target module count in the order notes so we can supply the correct cables.

Important: this module cannot be used on its own. For a new installation, start with one of our modular stacks, which include the control panel and base: 16.1kWh, 32.2kWh, 48.3kWh, 64.4kWh.

Weight, dimensions and installation

Each module weighs 148kg and measures 830mm x 450mm x 449mm (L x W x H). Arrange lifting equipment before delivery, and connect all negative connections before the positive.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the expansion module on its own?

No. It needs a Fogstar stack control unit, which is included with each of our modular stacks.

How many modules can one stack take?

Up to four 16.1kWh modules, which gives 64.4kWh per stack.
