Through the use of a chest-type design, the cold air is retained when the door is opened. Finally, using extra thick insulation means that the cold stays inside for longer.

As a result, the Steca PF166 is probably the most efficient DC energy-saving refrigerator ever to be developed. It can be used as either a refrigerator or a freezer.
The Steca PF range comes in two models, the smaller PF166 and the larger PF240.
